CONTEMPORARY
I am a Polish-British contemporary marquetry artist working with wood, geometry and material memory. My practice focuses on the balance between precision and emotion, using natural wood as both structure and narrative. Alongside marquetry, I also develop a parallel artistic practice in analog pinhole photography, working directly on photosensitive paper using reversal processing.
Beyond my artistic practice, I lead a Polish non-profit organisation (Norfolk Polonia CIC), supporting the Polish community through cultural and educational projects. I live and work in Norwich, United Kingdom.
I am a member of the Association of Polish Artists in Great Britain and a-n The Artists Information Company.
I search for harmony between precision and emotion. My works are built on simple geometry and abstraction, often influenced by subtle elements of science fiction.
I work exclusively with solid wood and prefer to use a single, natural wood base. This allows each piece of work to exist as both an object and a wall-mounted piece.
Selected veneers, traditional hide glue, often mother-of-pearl, silver, gold and natural resin are used to achieve a refined, noble finish.
My works are presented during exhibitions and are also available online through Saatchi Art.
